Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Larry Carnitine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nogi Kartov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carnitine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Doro Pesch and Udo Dirkschneider covering Breaking the Law. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Larry Carnitine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nogi Kartov!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kartov shoots for a double leg takedown but Carnitine sprawls well. He's pushed Kartov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Carnitine throws out a leg kick but Kartov moves out of range and Carnitine only half commits.
Carnitine just misses with a punch to the body.
Kartov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Carnitine manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kartov wants to control from the top but Carnitine keeps moving.
Carnitine has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kartov has passed into side control.
Carnitine tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kartov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

and Carnitine counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That was a close second round but I would say that Larry Carnitine will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Kartov is looking to clinch.

Kartov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Kartov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kartov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carnitine but Carnitine pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kartov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Carnitine's guard.

Carnitine is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kartov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kartov's back!

I would just about give that final round to Nogi Kartov.
