Limmen drops Benton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Benton looks back up at him and smiles so Limmen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Limmen throws a chopping leg kick but Benton manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

and Benton counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Limmen connects with a superb combination that knocks Benton out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Limmen before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Benton!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Steve Limmen!
After the fight, Steve Limmen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
