Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Stones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Karppinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stones's entrance music is "Angry Mob Justice" - The Acacia Strain. A fine choice. Karppinen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Disturbed - Stricken. Josh Karppinen struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Damien Stones has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karppinen slips a jab and a cross from Stones.
Stones moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Stones throws a right hand that Karppinen ducks under and follows up with a left that Karppinen also avoids with ease.
Karppinen tries to clinch there but Stones circles away.

Karppinen pushes Stones up against the cage in a clinch.
Stones is trying to break free.
Karppinen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
