Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Valadez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baldong Dado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valadez comes to the cage accompanied by Rock of ages. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Baldong Dado was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Valadez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Baldong Dado! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valadez moves into the clinch. Valadez looking for a takedown. Valadez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dado avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Valadez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dado has him pressed against the cage. Dado wants the takedown. Valadez is fighting it off but Dado persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Valadez's guard against the cage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dado chips away with some ground and pound. Valadez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dado controls the pace. Valadez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dado on the ground. Valadez striking off his back but it's not causing Dado any problems. Valadez trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Dado seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Valadez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Valadez wants to stand but Dado is controlling the position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Baldong Dado wasn't active enough on the ground. Valadez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dado circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Valadez. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Valadez looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valadez closes the distance and clinches up with Dado, looking for a takedown. Valadez pushes Dado against the cage but Dado circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dado throws a head kick that misses. Dado showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Valadez.
Dado looking to score a takedown here. Valadez is defending well but Dado drives through and ends up in Valadez's guard. Valadez is working an open guard so Dado takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dado circles away from the clinch attempt.
David Valadez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valadez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Valadez is breathing heavily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Valadez. Dado manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Valadez on his heels. He'll look to pass Valadez's guard now, I'm sure. Dado gets to his feet. Valadez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Valadez wants to slow Dado down by chopping away at his legs. Dado instigates a clinch. Valadez pressing his opponent against the cage. Dado is trying to trip Valadez. He has hold of a leg but Valadez is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dado persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dado stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valadez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dado showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Valadez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dado is controlling him. Dado is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Dado forces his way into half guard. Dado content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Dado moves nicely into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dado taking a breather here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Let's hope that Dado has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Dado working the ground and pound from side control. Dado advances nicely into full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dado connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Dado looking to secure an arm triangle but Valadez defends it well. Dado controlling the pace for now. Dado's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dado working for a guillotine from mount but Valadez is in no mood to give up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dado is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Dado feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dado slips nicely into half guard. Dado with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Valadez on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dado controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Baldong Dado dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dado closes the distance and clinches. Valadez tries a body shot but Dado blocks it.
Dado jumps guard and drags Valadez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dado pushes Valadez off and scrambles back to his feet.
Dado clinches up against the cage. Dado is pressed up against the cage. Valadez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dado down to the mat. Dado avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dado closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Valadez is looking to control Dado's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Valadez avoid being mounted? Dado stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Valadez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dado. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Valadez. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dado throws a head kick but Valadez moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dado moves into the clinch. Dado is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Valadez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dado lands a takedown into guard.
Dado advances to half guard. Dado decides to stand and escape the position. Dado drives through with a takedown into Valadez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Dado looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dado advances to half guard. Dado passes to side control. Dado working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valadez takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dado lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Valadez down.
Valadez is being controlled here. Dado has knee on belly and moves into mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dado cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Dado controlling the position easily from mount. Dado has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Valadez in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Dado controlling from the full mount.

Baldong Dado has got the better of the ground game so far. Dado sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dado lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dado takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dado unloading with bombs! Valadez takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dado controlling the pace for now. Dado working the ground and pound effectively.
Dado content just to control the position here. Dado get's back to his feet. David Valadez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A head kick misses from Dado. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Baldong Dado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Dado looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dado has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dado passes Valadez's left leg - he's now in half guard. Well, if Dado is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Nice strikes from Dado there. Dado uses his free foot to push down on Valadez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Valadez. Dado has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Valadez's face.

Dado with shots to the head and body - Valadez looks very uncomfortable down there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dado tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dado has hold of Valadez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Valadez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dado landing punches. Dado is standing up, even though he is in mount. Valadez misses with a body shot.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dado avoids the head kick by Valadez.
Valadez with a poor takedown and Dado counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dado advances position into side control! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dado content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Dado is working to tighten is grip on Valadez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Valadez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dado is really squeezing tight and eventually Valadez passes out! Dado breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
