Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jordan Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Lok! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones lands a nice shot that snaps Lok's head back.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lok moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jones lands a leg kick that knocks Lok off balance momentarily. Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lok doesn't seem bothered though. Lok fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lok lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Jordan Jones has been cut. Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Lok throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Lok shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lok eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jordan Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Lok. Lok takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lok's hands. Jones lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lok at a distance.

Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jones lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lok's sensitive parts. Lok dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. An inside leg kick from Jones misses. Lok darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Lok trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Lok is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jones is staying active underneath Lok, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lok trying to mount his opponent but Jones defends it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lok.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lok missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lok missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lok not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jones wants to improve his position but Lok is controlling well.

Jones is refusing to be controlled, as Lok sits in half guard. Lok is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Jones to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones keeping full guard, as Lok tries to pass. Lok slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lok tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lok working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kevin Lok will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jordan Jones's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lok closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away. Lok tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lok throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lok. Jordan Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Lok. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jordan Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lok takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Lok feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jones keeping moving, preventing Lok from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones wriggles free and stands up. Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones catches Lok with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Lok shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Lok keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Jones swinging wildly here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lok showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
Lok looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lok shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Lok's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lok has his takedown stuffed and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jones misses with a double jab.
Lok walks into a stiff left hand from Jones. Lok shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lok is defended easily by Jones. A nice combination there by Jones.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lok. Jones clinches up against the cage. Jones has Lok pressed against the cage, preventing Lok from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lok is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jones gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lok drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Lok shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Jordan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lok on the side of the head. Lok dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Lok's head and hops out. Lok is breathing heavily. Jones connects with a high kick. Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jones throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lok is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Lok shoots in. Jones stalks Lok and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lok's face. Lok staggers backwards, shaken. Jones throws a right hand that Lok ducks under and follows up with a left that Lok also avoids with ease. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lok closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away. Lok shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Lok is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Good exchange - Jones coming out on top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Jones dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jordan Jones's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Lok fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. Lok is now in Jones's guard. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lok trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lok seems to have recovered his senses. Lok stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jones is trying to control the position but Lok postures up. Lok must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones wants to sweep here but Lok controlling him for the moment. Lok trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lokis looking to pass into half guard but Jones pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jones is in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lok has control of Jones's left arm, preventing Jones from doing any damage. Jones wants to pass the guard but Lok is keeping the position. Lok is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well. Kevin Lok has got the better of the ground game so far. Lok looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jones advances to mount. Lok tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away. Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lok is looking to escape. Jones looking to finish with strikes here!

Jones working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jones looking to control but Lok is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Lok defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jones. Jones working Lok over with strikes here. Jones postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lok looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
