Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jules Avalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tug Speedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avalon comes to the cage accompanied by Superman - Super Junior. Tug Speedman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tug Speedman!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Speedman throws a jab but it's blocked by Avalon.
A big left from Speedman misses.
Speedman throws a poor cross that misses
and Avalon counters by clinching up.
Speedman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Speedman just misses with a punch to the body.
Speedman lands a head shot.
Tug Speedman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Speedman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Avalon moves out of range as Speedman strikes.
Avalon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Good shot there by Speedman.
Speedman looks to score with a jab to the body but Avalon is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Avalon tries to clinch but Speedman is having none of it.
Speedman just misses with a punch to the body.
Speedman with a jab.
Avalon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Avalon is rocked!
The fighters circling - Speedman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Some wild striking there from Speedman.
Avalon tries to clinch but Speedman moves away
and Speedman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Speedman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Avalon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Speedman throws out the jab.
Speedman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Speedman stuns Avalon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Speedman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Speedman cracks Avalon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Speedman. Avalon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Speedman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Avalon.
Oh Avalon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Speedman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Avalon seems to have got his legs back now.
Speedman takes a swing at Avalon's ribcage but misses.
Speedman lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Avalon is looking to close the distance but Speedman sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Avalon crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Avalon is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Tug Speedman!
In his post fight interview, Tug Speedman started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
