Weruke has chosen Waking the Demon - Bullet For My Valentine as his entrance music. Reynard Acaleem has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Acaleem does it's job there.

Acaleem gets a double leg takedown into Weruke's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Weruke avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Weruke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Acaleem. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Acaleem loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Acaleem stands up over Weruke, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Acaleem throws a big elbow that misses.

Acaleem postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Acaleem throws a strike but Weruke rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Acaleem has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Weruke off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Acaleem dives in and grabs Weruke's left leg, looking for a takedown. Weruke pushes down on Acaleem's head and hops out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Acaleem bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Weruke's head backwards.
Weruke misses with a straight right.

Acaleem is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Weruke's half guard.

Acaleem works his foot free and advances to mount.
Acaleem has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Acaleem postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Weruke bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Acaleem and the fight is over!
