With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trulove Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pikkarainen gets a double leg takedown into Sackett's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Sackett parries the strikes from Pikkarainen easily there. Pikkarainen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sackett to escape.
Sackett is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pikkarainen's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Sackett is not content to let Pikkarainen control the position.
Pikkarainen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Sackett is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sackett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pikkarainen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pikkarainen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Pikkarainen stands up over Sackett, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sackett takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Pikkarainen shoots for a takedown but Sackett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pikkarainen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sackett tries to avoid it but Pikkarainen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sackett to the ground. Sackett escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sackett tries a low kick but Pikkarainen avoids it.

Sackett moves out of range as Pikkarainen strikes.

Pikkarainen drives through with a takedown into Sackett's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Pikkarainen looking for a triangle here. Sackett is fighting it but it looks tight! Pikkarainen pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sackett is tapping out - this one is all over!
