The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reece will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva slips a straight right by Reece.
Sloppy strikes from Reece. Those never looked like landing.
Silva lunges at Reece with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Reece's hand.
A big right from Silva misses.
Reece misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
Silva listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Reece misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Silva smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reece throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Silva looks to land a combination but Reece avoids it well.
Silva throws a jab when Reece was well out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva throws a hook but Reece blocks it.
Reece throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Reece throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Silva misses with a looping right.
Reece throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Reece throws an overhand right that lands on Silva's shoulder, as Silva tries to avoid the shot.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silva scores with a nice right hand.
Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Silva misses with a combination
and Reece counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fighters circling - Silva throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Reece misses with a lunging right hand
letting Silva counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reece.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reece misses with an uppercut. Silva saw that one coming.
Silva connects with a combination that backs up Reece into the cage. Silva lands a flurry of punches that gets past Reece's guard. Reece is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Silva bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mauricio Silva!
