Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McDonald.
Li stuffs the takedown.
Li lands with a nice body kick.
Li displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Li gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, McDonald regains guard.
McDonald is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Li is controlling him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Li is pushing down on McDonald's leg trying to pass to half guard. McDonald is fighting to maintain full guard but Li has managed to sneak the leg through.
McDonald looks like he's trying to stand up.
McDonald is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Li pulls his head out easily.
McDonald looks gassed!
Li is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

McDonald tries to kick Li off but Li keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Li is trying to work for a kimura but McDonald is defending well.
Li is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McDonald defends it well.
McDonald is trying to stand up here but Li is controlling him well.
Li decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Li keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hong Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan McDonald.
Li throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McDonald.
McDonald tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Li moves into range and clinches up with McDonald.
Li gets underhooks to prevent McDonald's takedown attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Li has clasped his hands together around McDonald's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
McDonald is trying to get back to half guard.
Li is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McDonald has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Li is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McDonald knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Li blocks the strikes from McDonald.
Li stands up and we're back to a striking position.
McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Li paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McDonald throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Li's waist but Li gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDonald off to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Li lands with a thumping leg kick.
Li has taken the fight to the clinch.
Li pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Li instigates a clinch.
Li is pressed up against the cage. McDonald has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Li down to the mat. Li avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Li scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Li has managed to clinch.
McDonald drops down looking for an ankle pick but Li pulls his leg out and moves away.
Li takes the fight into the clinch.
Li has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McDonald after a bit of a struggle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Li breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hong Li dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
McDonald fails with a takedown attempt.
Li closes the distance and clinches.
Li tightens his grip and picks McDonald up, before dumping him to the ground. McDonald manages to land in guard.
Li drops back looking for a leg! McDonald is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McDonald manages to kick Li off! Li jumps back into McDonald's guard.
Li gets to his feet. McDonald looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Li clinches.
Li's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hong Li is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Li keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Li moves into range and clinches up with McDonald.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Li keeps the fight in the clinch, despite McDonald's efforts to push away.
Li stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Li jumps guard.
Li is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McDonald can do to turn this around?
McDonald tries to free his leg and advance position but Li is retaining full guard.
McDonald content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Li has locked up a guillotine! Li's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? McDonald is holding on here and Li must be using up a lot of energy. McDonald has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Li gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Hong Li!
