Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gunnar Owens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castro as he jumps to the side.
Owens shoots in but no luck this time.
Owens has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gunnar Owens. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Owens shoots in and drives through. Castro sprawls well.
Owens fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Owens will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Owens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Castro but Castro pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Owens is desperately trying to improve his position but Castro has a good base and remains in mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Rawrl Castro just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Owens lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Castro is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
