Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tjerk Hamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killer Instinct (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killer Instinct will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tjerk Hamer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Killer Instinct! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamer forces Instinct back against the cage and clinches. Hamer tries to break the clinch but Instinct is controlling the position. Hamer pulls guard successfully.
Instinct postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hamer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Instinct, into his guard. Hamer is in close to Instinct's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hamer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Instinct working for submissions but it's allowed Hamer to get to half guard.
Hamer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Instinct wants to improve his position but Hamer is controlling well.
Hamer works his way into side control. Instinct is trying to get back to half guard. Instinct looks gassed! Hamer staying calm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Instinct is looking to reverse the position. Hamer staying calm. Instinct is trying to improve his position. Instinct being controlled for a moment. Hamer decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hamer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Hamer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hamer moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Instinct. Hamer is working to tighten is grip on Instinct's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Instinct has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hamer is really squeezing tight and eventually Instinct passes out! Hamer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tjerk Hamer!
