PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Professor Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaos comes into the arena with Chaos blaring out of the sound system. Barnes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Professor Chaos !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andre Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaos cracks the inside of Barnes's front leg.
Barnes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chaos .
Barnes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Barnes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chaos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barnes.
Chaos moves forwards but Barnes connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Chaos takes one on the button.
Chaos takes one to the side of the head.
Chaos connects with the punch.
Barnes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Chaos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barnes quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chaos lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Chaos has his foot on Barnes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barnes works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Professor Chaos will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Chaos does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

And that's the end of the fight!
Andre Barnes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Chaos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
