Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Durden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn Griffin! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin fails to land the takedown. A head kick misses from Griffin. Durden bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Durden goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Griffin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Durden but great work by Griffin. Griffin trying to control the position but Durden is working away. Durden tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Griffin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Griffin misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Durden manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Durden wants to pass the guard but Griffin is defending well. Durden moves into full mount! Griffin won't be happy about that! Durden working for a guillotine from mount but Griffin is in no mood to give up. Griffin wants to control but Durden is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durden looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Griffin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Durden. Griffin swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Durden jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Griffin is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Griffin and Durden has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Griffin is looking for a sweep. Durden advances to mount. Durden is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Griffin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Griffin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Durden. Durden swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Griffin is now in Durden's guard. A big mistake from Durden there, giving up the dominant position! Durden is breathing heavily. Durden is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Durden is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Griffin trying to control the position from guard on top but Durden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Griffin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Durden wants to sweep here but Griffin controlling him for the moment. Durden is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Griffin frees his head nicely. Oh but Durden has switched to an armbar! Griffin is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
