Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Santhiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Podster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Santhiago Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rico Podster!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Podster rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.
Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Silva creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Podster throws a knee to the head but misses.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Santhiago Silva will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Silva is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Podster can't fight it off and eventually Silva manages to take the fight to the floor. Podster looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Podster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

I would just about give that final round to Rico Podster.
