Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dishaun Ringle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li has chosen System as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dishaun Ringle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joshua Li! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li swats away the attempt to clinch by Ringle. Li leaves Ringle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Li lands with a slapping head kick. Li looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ringle blocks a head kick by Li.
Li lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ringle's sensitive parts. Ringle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Li tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ringle paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ringle tries to clinch up but Li circles away and keeps his distance. Li plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Dishaun Ringle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ringle misses with a takedown attempt - Li sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ringle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dishaun Ringle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Li fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Li throws a leg kick which misses Ringle's front leg but catches the back leg as Ringle tries to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ringle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Li sprawls well. Li wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ringle gets slowly back to his feet. Li pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Li checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Ringle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Li has taken the fight to the clinch.
Li breaks the clinch.
Li tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ringle swivels and escapes. Li lands a head kick!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ringle. Ringle takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Li tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Li scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Li clinches. Ringle jumps into guard, dragging Li to the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Li tries to stand but Ringle is controlling from the bottom. Ringle pulls Li in close to prevent any damage. This has been an exciting period of action! Li with a flurry of punches that miss. Li got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ringle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Li has managed to get both his arms back between Ringle's legs - danger averted. Li really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ringle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Li throws a big right hand that misses. Ringle has his hands on Li's head, controlling the position. Li wants to control from the top but Ringle keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ringle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Li throwing strikes but missing. Ringle is controlling Li's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Li avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ringle looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Li is defending well. Ringle quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Li has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ringle celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dishaun Ringle!
