Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cock Chestnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Shepard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chestnar comes to the ring accompanied by 'The Touch' by Stan Bush. The crowd seem to be enjoying Shepard's choice of entrance music: Exterminate to emancipate. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cock Chestnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Shepard! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chestnar has closed the distance and engaged Shepard in a clinch.
Shepard wants to get back to striking at distance but Chestnar won't allow it.
Chestnar breaks from the clinch.
Shepard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Chestnar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Paul Shepard has been cut. Shepard fails in his attempt to clinch. Chestnar feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Shepard sprawling to the canvas! Shepard rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chestnar finish him?!
Shepard is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chestnar lands a big uppercut and Shepard crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shepard looks OK. Shepard is still in real trouble! Can Chestnar finish him? Chestnar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Chestnar stands up from half guard. Shepard seems to have recovered his senses. Chestnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shepard, pushing him back against the ropes. Chestnar manages to break the clinch.
Chestnar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Chestnar throws a jab but it's blocked by Shepard. Chestnar takes a swing at Shepard's ribcage but misses. Good shot there by Shepard. Shepard moves away from the strike by Chestnar. Shepard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chestnar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Shepard wants to get back to striking at distance but Chestnar won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shepard wants a takedown but no success here.
Shepard is trying to break free. Chestnar breaks the clinch.
Chestnar connects with a looping right hand.
Shepard takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Shepard tries to clinch but Chestnar moves away and Chestnar counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Shepard down! Chestnar is looking to finish but Shepard is intelligently defending himself. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shepard wants to stand but Chestnar is controlling the position. Shepard looks gassed! Chestnar is working Shepard over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Chestnar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Chestnar tries to stand but Shepard is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chestnar pushing down on Shepard's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Chestnar wants to stand up but Shepard manages to regain full guard. Shepard trying to keep a closed guard but Chestnar is proving a slippery customer.
Chestnar wants to control from the top but Shepard keeps moving. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Chestnar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shepard is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chestnar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Chestnar stands up from guard. Let's bang! Chestnar misses with a series of wild punches.
Shepard pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chestnar takes the fight into the clinch. Chestnar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Shepard backwards.
That has opened up Paul Shepard's cut even more. Chestnar breaks the clinch.
Shepard walks into a left hand. Shepard is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cock Chestnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chestnar cracks Shepard with an uppercut from hell and Shepard crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Chestnar's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The cut above Paul Shepard's eye is starting to cause him problems now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shepard has a closed guard, preventing Chestnar from standing up. Shepard working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chestnar. Chestnar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Chestnar wants to control from the top but Shepard keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chestnar stays in close to Shepard's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cock Chestnar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Paul Shepard's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

enabling Chestnar to counter with a crisp jab. Chestnar Rushes Shepard and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Shepard is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Chestnar Piles on the pressure and Shepard crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
