Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hurt duly obliges.
Hurt lands with an uppercut that bounces Gnp off the cage and back into range.
Hurt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gnp doesn't seem bothered though.
Gnp fails with a takedown attempt.
Hurt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gnp momentarily.
Gnp tries for a takedown but Hurt sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hurt connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gnp has his takedown stuffed
and Hurt counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gnp thinking.
Kurt Hurt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MR Gnp.
Gnp takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Gnp with a poor takedown
and Hurt counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gnp is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Hurt lands a nice shot that snaps Gnp's head back.
Gnp tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hurt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gnp somewhat.
Hurt drops Gnp with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hurt follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kurt Hurt!
