Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Simon Stickler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inigo Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerra has chosen The Beast - Tech N9ne as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Stickler ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Inigo Guerra! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerra tries to clinch up. Stickler misses with a body shot.
Guerra misses with a head kick.
Guerra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stickler paws at him with a jab and circles away. Guerra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stickler swats him away and circles back towards the center. Inigo Guerra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guerra pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stickler back to the cage. Guerra follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Guerra lands a jab to Stickler 's midsection. Guerra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stickler looks to throw the jab but Guerra is out of range. Stickler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guerra moves away. Guerra throws a body punch but Stickler moves out of range. Guerra goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Stickler blocks a leg kick. Stickler comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Guerra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stickler swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stickler darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Stickler is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Guerra defends it well. Stickler stops Guerra from getting back to his feet.
Stickler controlling the action here. Stickler wants to free his trapped foot but Guerra is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stickler is working for a submission of some sort.
Stickler not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Stickler is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Guerra looking for submissions off his back. Guerra is controlling Stickler 's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stickler misses with a head shot. Guerra uses the momentum to regain guard. Stickler working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Guerra's head. Guerra lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stickler ! Stickler manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guerra works his foot free and advances to mount. Stickler regains half guard. Guerra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Simon Stickler will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Guerra clinches up with Stickler and pushes him back against the cage. Guerra missing with knees to the body.

Stickler tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Guerra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stickler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guerra moves away. Stickler connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Guerra momentarily.
Stickler uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Guerra has time to react. Nice body punch from Guerra. Guerra swings away with a body shot that misses
and Stickler counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerra fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stickler , pushing him back against the cage. Stickler avoiding damage as Guerra throws knees to the body.
Stickler fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Stickler . That's going to take a lot out of him. Guerra lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Inigo Guerra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Guerra lands an overhand right. Guerra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stickler paws at him with a jab and circles away. Guerra tries to clinch but Stickler is having none of it. Guerra gets a clinch. Guerra trying to land knees to the body.

Stickler blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Guerra tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stickler avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Guerra - that landed with a thud.
Stickler prevents a body shot from Guerra. Guerra leaning his opponent against the cage. Guerra is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Stickler is defending well for now. Stickler tries for a takedown. No joy.
Stickler tries to pull guard but Guerra forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Knees to the body from Guerra.

Stickler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerra throws a front kick aimed at Stickler 's knee but Stickler avoids it well. Guerra uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stickler .
Guerra looks to score with a jab to the body but Stickler is just out of range. No joy there for Guerra, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stickler moves out of range of the body kick. Guerra attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Guerra just misses with a punch to the body.
Inigo Guerra is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stickler drives through with a takedown into guard. Guerra looking to control.
Stickler works a leg free and moves into half guard. Stickler prevents Guerra from improving his position. Stickler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Simon Stickler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stickler wants to take a breather but Guerra is having none of it. Stickler lands with a punch from half guard. Stickler stalling away here and it's allowed Guerra to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stickler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stickler is looking to work some ground and pound but Guerra has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Inigo Guerra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Guerra looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stickler checks the leg kick. Guerra scores with a head kick. Stickler tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Guerra swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Guerra wants to clinch up but Stickler keeps it at a distance. Guerra misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stickler drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Guerra working a defensive guard here.
Guerra keeping moving, preventing Stickler from controlling successfully. Guerra is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stickler is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stickler sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Simon Stickler has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stickler checks a leg kick. Stickler shoots in for a takedown but Guerra shows good takedown defense. Stickler listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Guerra ducks under a wild hook from Stickler . Guerra walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stickler checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Guerra on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Stickler walks into a stiff left hand from Guerra.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guerra misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stickler .
Guerra throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Guerra is looking to clinch but Stickler is avoiding it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Guerra lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stickler has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stickler and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Stickler avoids the head kick by Guerra.
Stickler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Guerra on his heels. He'll look to pass Guerra's guard now, I'm sure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stickler stopping the sweep attempt from Guerra. Stickler throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Guerra works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stickler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerra keeping full guard, as Stickler tries to pass. Guerra wants to sweep here but Stickler controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Guerra is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Inigo Guerra. Guerra tries to clinch there but Stickler circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Simon Stickler . I think Stickler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
