Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fantinaz Del Norte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Norte comes to the cage accompanied by La Coka Nostra - Malverde Market. Diego Brandao is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Fantinaz Del Norte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Brandao!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Norte is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brandao's half guard.
Del Norte looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Brandao is trying to stand back up but Del Norte is controlling him
Del Norte wants to control but Brandao is keeping him busy.
Brandao moves into full guard.
Del Norte pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brandao is keeping the position for now.
Brandao keeping moving, preventing Del Norte from controlling successfully.

Brandao tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Del Norte working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Del Norte is working Brandao over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Brandao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Del Norte doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Del Norte manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Del Norte looks up at the clock and then as Brandao takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Del Norte smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Del Norte is chipping away with strikes.
Del Norte has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Del Norte tries for a kimura but Brandao is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Del Norte moves into full mount!
Del Norte postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brandao looks a forlorn figure.
A nice elbow there by Del Norte.
Del Norte takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Del Norte lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Del Norte lands a big shot to the head and Brandao winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
