Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scorpien Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ron Sieler!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sieler looks to throw the jab but Rua is out of range.
Sieler swings for the body but Rua moves out of range.
Rua takes one on the button.
It looks like Scorpien Rua has been cut.
Rua avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rua tries for a takedown but Sieler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sieler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rua moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sieler slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rua shoots for a double leg takedown but Sieler sprawls well. He's pushed Rua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sieler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sieler wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scorpien Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed right hand from Sieler misses the target.
Sieler misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Sieler.
Sieler comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Rua has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sieler.
Sieler tries to score with a low kick but Rua moves his leg out of the way.
Rua blocks a jab.
Sieler uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sieler throws an overhand right that lands on Rua's shoulder, as Rua tries to avoid the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sieler lands with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rua moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rua is rocked!
Sieler circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Rua tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Sieler wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ron Sieler!
During a confident post fight interview, Ron Sieler thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
