Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cilok Pukimakau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mega Boes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cilok Pukimakau could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mega Boes's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cilok Pukimakau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mega Boes!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pukimakau shoots and misses

and Boes counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pukimakau!

Boes get's back to his feet.
Pukimakau lands an overhand right.
Pukimakau tries to clinch but Boes moves away

and Boes counters with a single leg into guard. Pukimakau didn't expect that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boes would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Pukimakau not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Boes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Boes is looking to stand up but Pukimakau won't let him.

Pukimakau has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pukimakau looks for a takedown but Boes sprawls well.

Boes drives through with a takedown into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Boes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pukimakau sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cilok Pukimakau is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pukimakau counters with a solid body kick.
Pukimakau shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boes as he jumps to the side.
Boes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pukimakau.
Boes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cilok Pukimakau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mega Boes.

and Boes counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mega Boes has got the better of the ground game so far.
Pukimakau not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pukimakau has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Cilok Pukimakau wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Pukimakau keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Pukimakau bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pukimakau laying and praying for a moment but Boes takes advantage and regains half guard.

Boes is trying to stand back up but Pukimakau is controlling him
Pukimakau wants to free his trapped foot but Boes is holding on for dear life with his legs.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boes tries to kick Pukimakau off but Pukimakau keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Boes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pukimakau sprawls well. Pukimakau wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boes gets slowly back to his feet.
Pukimakau shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boes pinned against the cage. Boes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cilok Pukimakau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pukimakau shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Boes counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pukimakau's guard now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mega Boes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Pukimakau looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pukimakau plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Pukimakau shoots in for a takedown but Boes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Boes shoots in but no luck this time.

Cilok Pukimakau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mega Boes.
Boes shoots in but Pukimakau avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pukimakau throws a series of strikes that have Boes backpedaling.
Boes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pukimakau sprawls well. Pukimakau wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boes gets slowly back to his feet.
Pukimakau's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Pukimakau duly obliges.

Pukimakau drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Pukimakau looking to sit in guard and control but Boes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Boes trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pukimakau's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boes wants to stand and escape but instead Pukimakau has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Pukimakau is looking to advance position but Boes has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Boes is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pukimakau really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Pukimakau wants to hold on but Boes pushes him away.
Boes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pukimakau. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pukimakau is looking to improve his position but Boes isn't that keen on the idea.
Boes sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cilok Pukimakau showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Boes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
