Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ohna Nicko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Drens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathew Drens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ohna Nicko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mathew Drens! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Drens's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Drens wants to sweep but no luck. Nicko throws a strike but Drens rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Nicko is pulling down on Drens's head to control his posture. Nicko trying to control the position.
Drens drops back looking for a leg! Nicko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nicko manages to kick Drens off! Drens jumps back into Nicko's guard. Drens trying to control the position from guard on top but Nicko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nicko looking to control.
Nicko wants to sweep but no luck. Nicko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drens on the ground. Drens trying to control but Nicko is working from the bottom. Nicko looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Drens sitting in guard here, content to control. Drens trying to control the position from guard on top but Nicko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nicko misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nicko as he jumps to the side. Drens throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nicko was covering up waiting for the punch and Drens finishes the takedown easily into guard. Nicko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nicko is trying to control the position but Drens postures up. Drens trying to control the position from guard on top but Nicko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nicko wants to sweep but no luck. Nicko is breathing heavily. Nicko is working hard here to advance position. Drens is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Drens wants to control from the top but Nicko keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mathew Drens wasn't active enough on the ground. Nicko gets a takedown into half guard. Drens works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nicko trying to control but Drens is working from the bottom. Drens has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nicko off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Drens misses with a takedown attempt - Nicko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nicko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drens gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nicko counters with a nice double leg into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ohna Nicko will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nicko gets the takedown into side control. Drens is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Nicko's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Nicko working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Drens's thigh. Drens counters though and makes it back to full guard. Nicko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drens swivels though and keeps the full guard. Drens looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Nicko is defending well. Drens quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Nicko has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Drens celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
