Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Overeem Blackzilian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ajax Swan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Overeem Blackzilian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ajax Swan!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Blackzilian.
Swan blocks a head kick by Blackzilian.
Blackzilian throws a half hearted mid kick.
Swan throws a nice looking combination but Blackzilian bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Left hook, right uppercut from Swan.
Swan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Swan avoids the head kick by Blackzilian.
Blackzilian connects with a solid leg kick.
Blackzilian throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Swan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blackzilian's waist but Blackzilian gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Swan off to one side.
Swan shoots in looking for a takedown but Blackzilian manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Swan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Swan throws a series of punches but Blackzilian moves out of range.
Swan blocks a head kick by Blackzilian.
Good leg kick by Blackzilian there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Blackzilian looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Swan motions for Blackzilian to come forward. Swan throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Blackzilian pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Swan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Blackzilian ducks right into an uppercut from Swan.
Swan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blackzilian pinned against the cage. Blackzilian gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Overeem Blackzilian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ajax Swan.
Blackzilian throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Swan.

Swan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Swan looks to land a combination but Blackzilian avoids it well.

Blackzilian slaps away a takedown attempt from Swan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Blackzilian lands with a kick to the temple. Swan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Swan misses with a few strikes there.

Blackzilian lands a leg kick that knocks Swan off balance momentarily.
Swan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blackzilian throws a right and a left that Swan avoids nicely.
Blackzilian tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Swan closes the distance and clinches up with Blackzilian, looking for a takedown. Swan pushes Blackzilian against the cage but Blackzilian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Blackzilian thows a body kick. Swan tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Blackzilian pushes Swan away with a front kick.
Swan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Ajax Swan has been cut.

Swan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blackzilian swivels and escapes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blackzilian dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Swan. That did some damage!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
