Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zane Pinwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Proudstar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pale Horse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Proudstar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zane Pinwan! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Proudstar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pinwan moves in looking to clinch but Proudstar pushes him off. Proudstar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Proudstar throws a right and a left that both miss. Proudstar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pinwan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Proudstar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pinwan as he avoids it easily. Proudstar misses with a low kick. Pinwan fails in his attempt to clinch. Pinwan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Proudstar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Proudstar throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pinwan is looking to clinch. Pinwan leaves Proudstar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pinwan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Proudstar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Proudstar keeps the fight on the outside. The fight stays on the outside here - Proudstar looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Proudstar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Proudstar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Proudstar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Proudstar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pinwan is fending him off so far but Proudstar persists. Nope, Pinwan circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pinwan tries to clinch but Proudstar is having none of it. Proudstar lands with a thumping leg kick.
Zane Pinwan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pinwan moves to clinch but Proudstar breaks away and Proudstar counters with an outside leg kick.
Pinwan is looking to clinch. Proudstar shoots in for a double leg but Pinwan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Proudstar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pinwan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Proudstar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Proudstar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pinwan pinned against the cage. Pinwan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pinwan tries to clinch there but Proudstar circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Proudstar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Proudstar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Pinwan is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pinwan looks to clinch and Proudstar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Pinwan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Proudstar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Proudstar seems to be looking for submissions.
Proudstar is trying to control. Pinwan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Pinwan pushes Proudstar off looking to stand but Proudstar dives back in and keeps control.
Pinwan is not content to let Proudstar control the position. Proudstar is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pinwan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Proudstar is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Proudstar wants to pass the guard but Pinwan is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Proudstar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pinwan defends it well. Proudstar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Proudstar, into his guard.

Proudstar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Proudstar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pinwan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pinwan stands up and waves to Proudstar to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Proudstar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pinwan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Proudstar jumps guard but Pinwan stands there with Proudstar around his waist. Proudstar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Proudstar tightens his grip and picks Pinwan up, before dumping him to the ground. Pinwan manages to land in guard. Proudstar wants to pass the guard but Pinwan is keeping the position. Proudstar won't allow Pinwan to get back to his feet. Proudstar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Proudstar wants to pass the guard but Pinwan is keeping the position. Proudstar wants to control from the top but Pinwan keeps moving. Proudstar drops back looking for a leg! Pinwan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pinwan manages to kick Proudstar off! Proudstar jumps back into Pinwan's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Proudstar trying to move into half guard but instead Pinwan has managed to sweep!
And that's the end of the fight! Zane Pinwan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pinwan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
