The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red shoots for a takedown but Alexander saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Red drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Red works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Alexander wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Red remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Red in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Alexander is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
