Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hank Hill will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, James Morse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hank Hill! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill swings for the body but Morse moves out of range.
Hill lands an overhand right. Hill sizes up Morse with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Hill lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hill throws a good cross that connects.
A looping hook to the body misses from Morse. Hill does a little dance to reset his feet. Morse on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Morse shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hill is trying to defend but Morse finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Morse wants to free his trapped foot but Hill is holding on for dear life with his legs. Morse missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hill moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Morse postures up.

Morse closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Hill takes a swing at Morse's ribcage but misses. Morse does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. Decent striking displayed by Hill there. Morse shoots in looking for a takedown but Hill manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morse's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hill misses with a straight right. Morse misses with a series of wild punches.

Morse dives in and grabs Hill's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hill pushes down on Morse's head and hops out. Hill takes a swing at Morse's ribcage but misses. Hill plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Hill throws a leg kick which misses Morse's front leg but catches the back leg as Morse tries to avoid it. Morse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hill's waist but Hill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morse off to one side. Morse is breathing heavily. Morse throws a series of punches but Hill moves out of range. Hill connects with a solid leg kick. Hill avoids a kick to the body.

Hill moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hill scores with a leg kick.
Morse swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Morse has a takedown stuffed. Hill stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Hill works the jab nicely. Morse misses with a double jab.

and Hill counters with a nice body kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Morse takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hank Hill dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hill feints and then cracks Morse's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Morse down. Morse misses with a takedown attempt - Hill sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hank Hill seems to be getting the better of the standup. Morse avoids the head kick by Hill.

and Morse counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hill! Hill is looking to improve his position but Morse isn't that keen on the idea. Hill doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Morse breaks from Hill's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hill tries to hold on but Morse pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hill looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Hill tries to reverse the position but Morse maintains control. Morse stands up from mount. Strange move. Hill is breathing heavily. Morse throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hill fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Morse blocks the body kick.
Morse is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Morse scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Morse throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hill. Morse tries a head kick but it misses.
Hill scores with a nice strike. Good leg kick by Hill there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hill misses with a low kick. Morse throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Morse will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Morse fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hill avoids it really well and circles away. Hill getting the better of the striking in that exchange. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hank Hill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Hill scores with a decent looking hook. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Morse checks a leg kick. Hill lands with a shot to the body. Morse is looking to wear down Hill with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Hill feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Morses jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Hill avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hill fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Morse looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morse. Hill scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Morse will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Morse fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hill to the ground. Morse is now in Hill's guard. James Morse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hill wants to sweep here but Morse controlling him for the moment. Morse wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill pulls Morse in close to prevent any damage. Morse preventing the sweep. Morse pushes down on Hill's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hill trying to hold on to Morse's head to control him but Morse postures up.
Hill tries to roll over but Morse keeps him under control. Morse is keen to just control but Hill is a slippery customer. Hill is looking for a sweep. Morse is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hill is trying to control but can't.
Hill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Morse fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A big right from Hill misses. A bone on bone clash there as Morse blocks the leg kick.

Hill misses with a wild body shot. Hill throws a leg kick that is checked and Morse counters with a shoot takedown. Hill fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hill is pulling down on Morse's head to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morse postures up in Hill's guard and throws a big left but Hill blocks it. Morse gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Morse closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hill quickly recovers to half guard. James Morse has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Morse is thwarting Hill's attempts to control the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hill is trying to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Morse. I think Hill has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
