Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mixtli Azteca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abe Reles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Azteca comes to the cage accompanied by Graveflower by Acid Bath. Reles comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bone Thugs N Harmony - Mo' Murda kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mixtli Azteca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abe Reles! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azteca shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reles is trying to defend but Azteca finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Azteca trying to control the action but Reles is working from the bottom. Azteca thows a huge punch but Reles dodges it nicely.
Azteca sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Reles defending well though. Reles slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Azteca forces his way into half guard. Reles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Azteca. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Azteca looks to land a strike but Reles avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Azteca throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Reles works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Azteca lands a couple of digs. Azteca trying to control but Reles is working from the bottom. Reles lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Azteca! Reles lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Azteca hang on? Reles landing shots from mount. Poor strikes thrown by Reles there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Reles throws a wild left hand from mount and Azteca manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Reles wants to control but Azteca is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reles working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Azteca controlling the position for now. Azteca avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reles. Reles throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Azteca is trying to get back to full guard. Reles throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Azteca preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Reles sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Azteca defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Azteca keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Reles working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Azteca blocking the ground and pound attempt from Reles. Reles works his way into full mount! Reles prevents Azteca from getting the reversal. Azteca wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Reles.
Reles can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Azteca is looking to escape. Reles unloading with bombs! Reles has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Azteca avoids a series of strikes thrown by Reles.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reles can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Azteca is looking to escape. Reles misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Reles looking to ground and pound but Azteca is blocking nicely. Reles lands a heavy elbow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Azteca working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abe Reles dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Reles tests Azteca's chin there with a solid looking shot. Reles misses with an uppercut. Azteca connects with a looping right hand.
Azteca lands with a hook. Reles tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Azteca ducks right into an uppercut from Reles. Reles scores with a nice right hand.
Azteca is rocked! A momentary lapse in concentration from Reles enables Azteca to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reles manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Oh Azteca is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reles bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Azteca's guard. Azteca has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Reles has passed into side control.
Reles wants to control but Azteca is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Azteca's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Reles scores with a couple of short elbows. Reles in side control lands a decent elbow. Reles scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Azteca is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Reles can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abe Reles! Abe Reles really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Valhalla Q160 Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
