The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pires showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dariusz.
Dariusz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pires to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Pires throwing strikes but missing.

Dariusz controls Pires momentarily but Pires frees himself.

Pires looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Dariusz is defending well. Pires quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Dariusz has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pires celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Leonard Pires spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
