The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ota moves in looking to clinch but Hughes pushes him off.
Hughes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hughes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hughes cracks Ota with an open hand slap.

Hughes closes the distance and pushes Ota back into the cage.
Ota putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hughes in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Hughes looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hughes jumps guard but Ota stands there with Hughes around his waist. Hughes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Ota.

It looks like Jamond Hughes has been cut.
Ota landing knees to the body.

Hughes dodges an elbow strike from Ota.
Ota lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Ota tries to land a knee to the head but Hughes blocks with his arms.
Ota comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

That has opened up Jamond Hughes's cut even more.

Ota pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Hughes is looking for a takedown.

Ota drops Hughes with a big knee straight up the middle! Hughes is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Hughes is rocked!

Jamond Hughes's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Ota gets a clinch.
Hughes is still on wobbly legs! Can Ota finish him?
Ota jerks Hughes's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Hughes drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Ota goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Ota because Hughes was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
