Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brett Zeitgeist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vahid Sagyndykov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zeitgeist's entrance music is Sarcophagus. A fine choice. Brett Zeitgeist has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeitgeist tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sagyndykov swivels and escapes.
Sagyndykov tries to bum rush Zeitgeist with a series of wild strikes but Zeitgeist uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sagyndykov shoots in but Zeitgeist avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sagyndykov dives in and grabs Zeitgeist's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zeitgeist pushes down on Sagyndykov's head and hops out.
Sagyndykov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zeitgeist moves away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Zeitgeist decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sagyndykov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Zeitgeist throwing shots but Sagyndykov is blocking nicely.

Zeitgeist is trying to control. Sagyndykov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Zeitgeist takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sagyndykov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zeitgeist pulls his head out easily.

Zeitgeist wants to control but Sagyndykov is keeping him busy.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Zeitgeist lands a nice short elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zeitgeist wants to free his trapped foot but Sagyndykov is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Zeitgeist uses his free foot to push down on Sagyndykov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sagyndykov.
Zeitgeist lands with some strikes.

Sagyndykov is trying to escape the mount.
You get the feeling that Sagyndykov really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Zeitgeist can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sagyndykov is looking to escape.
Sagyndykov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Zeitgeist postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sagyndykov looks a forlorn figure.

Zeitgeist connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zeitgeist is looking to take a break and control but Sagyndykov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zeitgeist connects with a nice short shot to Sagyndykov's temple.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brett Zeitgeist will probably get the nod.
That's time! Zeitgeist's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sagyndykov has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Zeitgeist should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sagyndykov has tightened it up now! Zeitgeist should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
