Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rutger Crax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sauna Majuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rutger Crax! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sauna Majuri! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crax throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Crax takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Majuri swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Crax.
It looks like Rutger Crax has been cut. The fight moves into the clinch position. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Majuri creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Majuri misses with an elbow over the top. Majuri using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Crax has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Crax decides to pull guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Majuri content to stall in guard here. Crax controls Majuri momentarily but Majuri frees himself. Majuri trying to control the position from guard on top but Crax is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crax is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Majuri postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Majuri wants to control from the top but Crax keeps moving. Crax is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Majuri is controlling him. Majuri wants to pass the guard but Crax is keeping the position. Crax keeping moving, preventing Majuri from controlling successfully. Majuri won't allow Crax to get back to his feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sauna Majuri wasn't active enough on the ground. Majuri lands a lovely overhand right. Majuri closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Crax to the mat! Crax manages to get full guard. Crax keeping moving, preventing Majuri from controlling successfully. Majuri stays in close to Crax's body and controls the position. Majuri throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crax working for a triangle but Majuri defends it easily.
Crax wants to get back to his feet but Majuri is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Crax looking to hit a scissor sweep but Majuri is one step ahead there. Majuri trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Majuri trying to control but Crax is working from the bottom. Crax has his foot on Majuri's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Majuri works his way back into a safe position though. Majuri in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Majuri lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Majuri stays in close to Crax's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crax keeping moving, preventing Majuri from controlling successfully. Crax wants to get back to his feet but Majuri is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Majuri tries to free his leg and advance position but Crax is retaining full guard. Crax keeping moving, preventing Majuri from controlling successfully. Crax wants to stand but Majuri is controlling the position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sauna Majuri wasn't active enough on the ground. Crax bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Majuri's head. Crax misses with a looping left. Majuri gets a double leg takedown into Crax's guard. Majuri postures up.
Majuri wants to control from the top but Crax keeps moving. Majuri throwing strikes from guard but Crax blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Majuri is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Crax has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Majuri should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Crax has tightened it up now! Majuri should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Rutger Crax! Rutger Crax retains his heavyweight title! Rutger Crax decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
