Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Kyril (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyril has chosen HS Rockers as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Viktor Kyril!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice jab there from Henry.
Kyril misses with a leg kick.
Kyril tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Henry was well out of range. Poor timing from Kyril.
Kyril tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Henry shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kyril as he avoids it easily.
Kyril throws a chopping leg kick but Henry manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Henry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kyril sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Henry somewhat.
Henry misses with a body shot.
Kyril scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Henry is looking to clinch.
Kyril connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kyril throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Kyril staying out of range there.
Kyril tries to move into range but Henry moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kyril. That's going to slow Henry down.
Henry looks to score with a jab to the body but Kyril is just out of range.
Viktor Kyril seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kyril turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Kyril has taken the fight to the clinch.
Henry tries to score a body lock takedown but Kyril shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Henry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kyril.
Kyril misses with a punch to the body.
Henry is trying to pull guard but Kyril has him pressed against the cage.
Henry is breathing heavily.
Kyril pushes Henry back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Henry jumps guard but Kyril turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Kyril lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Kyril lands a shot to the body.
Kyril connects with a knee to the head.
Nice body punch from Kyril - that landed with a thud.
Kyril lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Kyril connects with a nasty looking knee right to Henry's face.

Henry is rocked!

Oh Henry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kyril creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kyril lands a left hand that snaps the head of Henry backwards.
Kyril jerks Henry's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Henry drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Kyril goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Kyril because Henry was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
