The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakano just misses with a punch to the body.
Nakano throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gusman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nakano is in Gusman's guard.
Nakano won't allow Gusman to sweep him here.
Nakano wants to control from the top but Gusman keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rodolfo Gusman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Gusman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nakano moves away.
Nakano shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nakano was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gusman tries to control the position but Nakano now has his back.
Gusman tries to break free.
Gusman is trying to defend against the choke here but Nakano has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Nakano Tightens the hold and Gusman taps out furiously! Nakano displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
