Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Odinius Thunder!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin misses the jab.
Thunder avoids the body shot from Austin.
Austin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice takedown defense from Austin. No joy for Thunder on that attempt.
Austin thuds his right hand into Thunder's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.


It looks like Odinius Thunder has been cut.

Thunder closes the distance and clinches up with Austin, looking for a takedown. Thunder pushes Austin against the cage but Austin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Austin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thunder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Austin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Thunder bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Thunder closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Thunder lands in his opponent's guard.
Thunder passes Austin's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Thunder has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Austin defend it? Thunder steps over the head and cranks it - Austin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Thunder!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Odinius Thunder!
