The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Fachellie tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fachellie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fachellie is looking to slow Brown down with leg kicks.
Nice uppercut lands for Fachellie. That snapped Brown's head back.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Brown.
A head kick from Fachellie lands but Brown takes it in his stride.
Brown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fachellie circles away.

Brown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fachellie walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fachellie is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Fachellie circles away and we're back to standing.

Fachellie is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brown is defending well for now.

Fachellie lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Brown.

Brown tries to pull guard but Fachellie holds him up against the cage and eventually Brown drops back down to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
