Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roy Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bull kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Label Society - Fire It Up. The crowd seem to be enjoying Diaz's choice of entrance music: Trick Daddy - Let's Go ft Twista & Lil Jon. Oscar Diaz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Roy Bull's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oscar Diaz!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bull tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bull drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Bull loads up on a big right hand but Diaz slips the punch.
Bull takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Diaz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diaz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bull swings for the body but Diaz moves out of range.
Bull throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz.
The crowd cheers as Bull lands an impressive looking overhand right. Diaz doesn't seem phased though.
Bull takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bull throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diaz takes one to the side of the head.
Bull thows a left - swing and a miss!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bull tries to land a front kick but Diaz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bull throws a shot from downtown. Diaz moves away and avoids it.

Diaz comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Some bone on bone action there as Diaz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Roy Bull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diaz throws a series of punches but Bull avoids them all with ease.
Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Bull.

Diaz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bull connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Diaz scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bull is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Diaz is defending well for now.
Diaz blocks a body shot from Bull.
Bull is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Bull misses with a punch on the inside.
Diaz tries to score a body lock takedown but Bull shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Diaz swings away with an uppercut that misses.

With the fighters up against the cage, Bull throws an elbow but misses.

Diaz has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bull is trying to keep an underhook but Diaz manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Diaz wants to work for an arm triangle but Bull is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Diaz tries to bum rush Bull with a series of wild strikes but Bull uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Diaz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bull is trying to defend but Diaz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bull wants to hit a switch here but Diaz passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bull there!

Diaz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bull has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Diaz should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bull has tightened it up now! Diaz should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
