Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimboso Akamawah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Swano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimboso Akamawah has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kimboso Akamawah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Swano! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swano throws a nice looking combination but Akamawah bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Akamawah lunges at Swano with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Swano's hand. Swano throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Akamawah on the side of the head. Swano goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Akamawah connects with a nice looking jab.
Swano throws a leg kick but Akamawah sees it coming and moves out of range. Swano moves into the clinch successfully.
Akamawah wants to get back to striking at distance but Swano won't allow it.
A short uppercut from Swano. Swano tries to land knees in the clinch but Akamawah avoids the damage to the body. Swano turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! This has been an exciting period of action! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Akamawah managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Swano.

That's one minute gone in the round. Swano misses with the ground and pound. Akamawah is breathing heavily. The ground and pound from Swano seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Swano looks up at the clock and then as Akamawah takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Swano smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Swano fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Swano cracks Akamawah with an elbow. That is naaassty. Swano throws a strike aimed at the side of Akamawah's head but Akamawah avoids it well. Swano is putting a hurting on Akamawah here, landing some big shots from side control.
Akamawah is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Swano cracks Akamawah with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Swano immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Akamawah is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Swano!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Swano! After winning the bout, Dan Swano thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
