Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Hillis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geiger Salaam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salaam closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Peyton Hillis has been cut.
Hillis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Salaam breaks from the clinch.
Salaam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A head kick misses from Salaam.
A nice inside leg kick there by Salaam. That's going to slow Hillis down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hillis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hillis avoids the body shot from Salaam.
Hillis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Salaam manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Salaam misses with a straight right.
Nice uppercut there from Salaam.
Hillis tries to bum rush Salaam with a series of wild strikes but Salaam uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Salaam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hillis closes the distance looking to clinch
and Salaam counters with a huge head kick that drops Hillis! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Geiger Salaam!
