Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Magellan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell thows a body shot but no joy.
Campbell throws a looping overhand right but Magellan ducks down to avoid it.
Campbell tries to close the distance and clinch but Magellan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Magellan slips under a jab from Campbell.
Magellan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Campbell defends it nicely.
Magellan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Campbell misses with a hook. Magellan ducked under it nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Campbell misses the target.
Campbell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Campbell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Magellan manages to avoid it.
Magellan misses with a takedown attempt - Campbell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Magellan shoots in looking for a takedown. Campbell tries to sprawl out of it but Magellan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Campbell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Campbell looks to land a left hand but Magellan moved out of range nicely.

Magellan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Magellan is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Campbell defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Campbell is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Magellan gets his way!

Magellan goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Campbell escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Magellan wants to improve his position but Campbell is controlling well.
