Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firenze looks for a takedown but Torneio sprawls well.
Firenze lands a head kick!
Altair Firenze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Firenze tries to score a power double leg takedown but Torneio sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Firenze somewhat.
Torneio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Torneio stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Torneio wants it to stay on the feet.
Teste Torneio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Altair Firenze.

Firenze prevents Torneio from breaking the clinch.
Firenze breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Firenze misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Firenze clinches.
Firenze keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Torneio's efforts to push away.
Torneio prevents a takedown attempt there.
Firenze drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Firenze is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Torneio to keep the fight standing.

Torneio is trying to break the clinch but Firenze is controlling him.

Firenze jumps guard but Torneio stands there with Firenze around his waist. Firenze gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Firenze keeps control of Torneio as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Firenze jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Torneio walks away with a smile on his face. Firenze gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Torneio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Firenze but Firenze pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck for Torneio with that takedown attempt.
Torneio misses with a straight right.

Torneio tries to clinch but Firenze is having none of it.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Torneio gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
so Firenze counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Torneio wants to stand up but Firenze is controlling him.
Firenze slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Torneio tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Firenze is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Torneio won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Firenze off his unconscious opponent!
