The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clinton misses with a right hand
and Ronan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ronan throws a body punch but Clinton moves out of range.
Ronan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clinton manages to avoid it.
Clinton just misses with a punch to the body.
Clinton lands a lovely overhand right.
Ronan swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Clinton counters with a thumping low kick.
Ronan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clinton.
Ronan throws a hook but Clinton avoids it easily.
Clinton wants to land a leg kick but Ronan is out of range.
Clinton misses with a head kick.
Clinton throws a body punch but Ronan moves out of range.
Ronan misses with a looping left.
Clinton takes a jab right on the kisser.
Clinton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ronan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Clinton attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Ronan walks into a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ronan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Clinton misses with a looping right.
Clinton misses with a jab to the body
and Ronan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ronan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clinton moves away.
Clinton shoots in and bounces Ronan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ronan keeping moving, preventing Clinton from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clinton stands and throws Ronan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Clinton is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ronan is trying to escape and Clinton transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ronan is forced to tap! Nice work there by Clinton! Very nice indeed!
