Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Cook! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace gets caught napping as Cook dives in and scores a takedown. Wallace manages to retain guard. Cook stays in close to Wallace's body and controls the position. Wallace is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cook working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wallace is looking to stand up but Cook isn't so interested in that idea. Wallace looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cook is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wallace with a lazy takedown attempt and Cook counters by moving into the clinch. Wallace jumps guard but Cook turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Wallace tries to break free but Cook pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace misses with a hook to the ribs.

Wallace works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Cook is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cook wants to sweep here but Wallace controlling him for the moment. Cook keeping moving, preventing Wallace from controlling successfully. Wallace passes Cook's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Cook is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cook controlling the position well. Cook trying to control from the bottom.
Cook gets full guard. Cook throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cook can do anything to dispel that myth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wallace postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cook throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Wallace wants to stand and escape but instead Cook has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Cook trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Wallace tries to clinch there but Cook circles away.

Wallace shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cook but Cook pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him. A cross from Wallace lands. Cook pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cook closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wallace's guard. Cook wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position. Cook trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cook controls the pace. Cook trying to control the position from guard on top but Wallace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cook must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Daniel Cook. Cook's corner calls for a 1-2. Cook obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Wallace wants to clinch up but Cook keeps it at a distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cook avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cook fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Cook gets caught napping as Wallace dives in and scores a takedown. Cook manages to retain guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Cook dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cook jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cook misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A momentary lapse in concentration from Cook enables Wallace to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cook manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cook is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cook looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wallace stands up from Cook's guard - Wallace perhaps looking for a knockout. Cook shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallace but Wallace pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Cook misses with a looping left. Wallace fails with a takedown attempt. Cook looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cook preventing the sweep. Wallace not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wallace is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Wallace wants to sweep here but Cook controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Cook stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cook is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because William Wallace just wasn't active enough. Cook closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wallace quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cook passes to side control. Cook moves into full mount! Cook trying to control but Wallace is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook prevents Wallace from getting the reversal. Cook controlling his opponent. Wallace really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Cook landing strikes, looking to finish! Cook takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cook trying to control but he's not successful this time. Wallace wants to hold on but Cook pushes him away. Cook prevents Wallace from getting the reversal. Wallace swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Cook punishing his opponent with strikes. Cook controlling the position easily from mount. Cook working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Cook showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Wallace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Wallace fails with a takedown attempt. Cook fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. William Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Cook.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cook is looking to take a break and control but Wallace is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Daniel Cook hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Cook looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cook has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wallace is proving hard to escape from. Cook controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
