Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Granada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus Black Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Granada fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Black Jr.
Granada throws a leg kick but Black Jr sees it coming and moves out of range.
Black Jr cracks the inside of Granada's front leg.
Granada blocks a head kick by Black Jr.
Granada instigates a clinch.
Granada lands a body shot in the clinch.
Black Jr tries to throw a body punch but Granada avoids it by throwing Black Jr back against the cage.

Granada breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Black Jr counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Granada lands a big head kick that sends Black Jr tumbling to the mat! Granada takes a step backwards and waves Black Jr back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The fight stays on the outside here - Granada looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Black Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Granada finish him?

Granada does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Black Jr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Black Jr seems to have recovered his senses.
Granada takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Black Jr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Granada misses with a kick to the body.
Black Jr swats away the attempt to clinch by Granada.
Black Jr thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Granada if he has to take too many more of those.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Granada crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Black Jr - the referee stops the clock and Granada gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Black Jr. Granada manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cyrus Black Jr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
