Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fernan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
James misses with a hook to the body
and Fernan counters with a flying knee. Nice.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Fernan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fernan throws a sloppy head kick and James moves out of range easily.
Fernan swats away the attempt to clinch by James.
James takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like James James has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fernan scores with a body shot.
Fernan lands a front kick.
James instigates a clinch.
James tries to land a knee to the head but Fernan blocks with his arms.
Fernan lands a hook that snaps the head of James backwards.
Fernan is trying to break the clinch but James has him pressed against the cage.
James misses with a body punch.
James tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

James throws a punch but it's blocked by Fernan.
Fernan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Fernan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
James's corner calls for a 1-2. James obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fernan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fernan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
James wants to clinch up but Fernan keeps it at a distance.
Fernan circles away from the clinch attempt
and Fernan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fernan scores with a head kick. James tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fernan! James is out on his feet! Fernan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - James is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! James is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
