Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Larkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to The Bone. Larkin has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. Al Bundy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Al Bundy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Larkin!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Larkin.

Bundy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Larkin was covering up waiting for the punch and Bundy finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Larkin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bundy trying to control the position from guard on top but Larkin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Larkin is trying to keep Bundy in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Al Bundy.
Bundy throws an overhand right that lands on Larkin's shoulder, as Larkin tries to avoid the shot.

Bundy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Larkin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Larkin lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bundy takes a step back to recover.
Bundy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Larkin throws a big shot that misses.
Larkin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bundy was well out of range. Poor timing from Larkin.

Larkin pulls Bundy in close to his closed guard and prevents Bundy from doing any damage or advancing position.

Larkin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bundy is controlling him.
Bundy looking to sit in guard and control but Larkin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Larkin wants to control from the top but Bundy keeps moving.
Larkin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bundy's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bundy is trying to keep Larkin in close.

Bundy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Larkin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bundy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Larkin is one step ahead there.
Bundy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bundy controlling the position.

Larkin wants to stand but Bundy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bundy is on top in guard.
Bundy throws a big elbow that misses.
Bundy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Larkin keeping moving, preventing Bundy from controlling successfully.
Larkin wants to get back to his feet but Bundy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Larkin looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bundy puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bundy not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bundy wants to control but Larkin is keeping him busy.
Bundy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Al Bundy will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bundy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Larkin lands a jab to Bundy's midsection.
Larkin misses with a hook.
Larkin tries to land a front kick but Bundy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bundy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A big left from Bundy misses.
Bundy shoots in for a double leg but Larkin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Larkin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bundy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Larkin tries to avoid it but Bundy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Larkin to the ground. Larkin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Larkin tries to score with a low kick but Bundy moves his leg out of the way.
Bundy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Larkin as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Bundy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bundy walks into a left hand.
Larkin misses with an uppercut.
Larkin walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bundy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Larkin thows a body shot but no joy.
Bundy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Larkin manages to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as Larkin blocks the leg kick.
Ryan Larkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Larkin. Those never looked like landing.
Larkin looks to score with a jab to the body but Bundy is just out of range.
Bundy shoots in for a double leg but Larkin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Donk. Bundy catches Larkin right on the button with a cross.
Larkin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Larkin looks to clinch

and Bundy counters with a single leg into guard. Larkin didn't expect that.
Bundy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Larkin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Larkin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bundy is controlling him.
Bundy wants to control from the top but Larkin keeps moving.

Bundy is really struggling to control Larkin but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Bundy postures up and lands a big shot to Larkin's brow.
Larkin is looking to stand up but Bundy isn't so interested in that idea.
Bundy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Larkin wants to stand up but Bundy is controlling him.
Bundy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Larkin is keeping the position for now.
Bundy passes into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bundy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bundy looks to land a strike but Larkin avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Bundy cracks Larkin with a solid left hand.
Bundy works over Larkin with some ground and pound from guard.
Larkin keeping full guard, as Bundy tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larkin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Bundy wants to control from the top but Larkin keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Larkin is on top in guard.
Bundy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Larkin manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bundy is pushing down on Larkin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Larkin is fighting to maintain full guard but Bundy has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bundy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Larkin wants to get back to full guard.
Larkin is trying to stand back up but Bundy is controlling him
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bundy wants to take a breather but Larkin is having none of it.
Larkin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Larkin looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Al Bundy dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Larkin tries to sprawl but Bundy drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Larkin is trying to control but can't.
Bundy thows a huge punch but Larkin dodges it nicely.
Larkin wants to get back to his feet.
Bundy winds up and cracks Larkin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Larkin is staying active underneath Bundy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Larkin scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bundy manages to mount him!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bundy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bundy lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Larkin! Bundy sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Larkin and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Al Bundy!

Al Bundy decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
