Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mason Prophet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prophet comes to the cage accompanied by Kamikaze Kush- Nothing To Lose. Mason Prophet has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Prophet counters with a left and a right that stings Nelson.
Alexander Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nelson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Prophet sprawls well. Prophet wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nelson gets slowly back to his feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nelson connects with a nice short shot to Prophet's temple.

Prophet is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Nelson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Nelson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Prophet tries to avoid it but Nelson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Prophet to the ground. Prophet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nelson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Prophet's waist but Prophet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nelson off to one side.
Nelson is breathing heavily.
Prophet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nelson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A punch lands to the side of Nelson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Nelson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nelson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Prophet to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Nelson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Prophet pulls down on the head and he's put Nelson to sleep! This one is all over!
