Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sativa Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pauli Painija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sensei comes to the cage accompanied by Stevie Ray - Pride and Joy. Pauli Painija has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pauli Painija!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Painija fails to land with a series of punches.
A right-left combo lands from Painija.
Sensei walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Painija throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Painija instigates a clinch.
Sensei tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sensei avoiding damage as Painija throws knees to the body.

It looks like Pauli Painija has been cut.

Sensei goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Sensei is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Pauli Painija will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sensei throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Painija sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Painija has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sensei regains guard immediately.
Painija is fighting to break Sensei's control of his arms but Sensei is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Sensei wants to sweep but no luck.

Sensei is pressed up against the cage. Painija has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sensei down to the mat. Sensei avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Pauli Painija seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Painija closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sensei drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sensei jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pauli Painija comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Painija has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
