Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Chips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Liddell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Chips! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddell! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell shoots in looking for a takedown. Chips tries to sprawl out of it but Liddell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chips manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chips looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Chips swinging wilding here.
Chips avoids the head kick by Liddell.
Liddell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chips swivels and escapes. Chips blocks a head kick by Liddell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chips keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Joey Chips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Liddell. Liddell gets a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chips is not content to let Liddell control the position. Chips wants to improve his position but Liddell is controlling well.
Chips is trying to stand.
Liddell content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Liddell prevents Chips from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Liddell works his way into side control. Liddell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chips keeps working. Chips can't do much from the bottom here. Chips sneaks back into half guard. Liddell prevents Chips from improving his position. Chips manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chips misses with a double jab.
Liddell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Liddell shoots in and bounces Chips off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Chips has momentary wrist control but Liddell slips an elbow through the middle.
Chips is rocked! Liddell passes Chips's left leg - he's now in half guard. Chips is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Liddell is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Chips is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liddell is looking for a kimura here.
Chips actively working from the bottom here. Liddell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Chips pushes Liddell off looking to stand but Liddell dives back in and keeps control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Chips fails to land with a series of punches.
Liddell throws a head kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Liddell dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Liddell throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Chips. Oh Chips is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chips looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Liddell Rushes Chips and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Chips is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Liddell Piles on the pressure and Chips crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Liddell!
