Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Sorrentino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Howerton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorrentino wants to clinch up but Howerton keeps it at a distance.
Howerton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sorrentino misses with a head kick.
Howerton moves into range and clinches up with Sorrentino.
Sorrentino wants to break free but Howerton has control.
Sorrentino tries to break free but Howerton pushes him back against the cage.
Howerton comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Howerton is working for takedown but Sorrentino is calmly controlling the position for now.

Sorrentino jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Howerton walks away with a smile on his face. Sorrentino gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Howerton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sorrentino pinned against the cage. Sorrentino gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Howerton really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Sorrentino.
Howerton has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Sorrentino has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sorrentino's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Howerton's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Howerton duly obliges.
Sorrentino closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sorrentino lands in his opponent's guard.
Sorrentino passes Howerton's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Sorrentino is keen to just control but Howerton is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Mark Howerton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
